I am a life long crafter living in a suburb of Nashville, Tennessee. My husband and I have 2 grown kids, a 9 year old son, and too many pets.
A dear friend introduced me to Stampin' Up! in 2006. I loved escaping to her home monthly to make beautiful cards and have some girl time. I missed this social time when my family relocated to my home town in Tennessee. I have been blessed to keep in touch with my friend and attend a semi-annual weekend retreat with her. I joined the Stampin' Up! family because I love a bargain and purchasing a starter kit provided the greatest value. Gradually I have increased my collection of crafting supplies and shared my love of paper crafting with my friends.
My move from collector to hobbiest began with the witches hat in 2015. I fell in love with it and knew my friends would also. So I invited them to join me and create their own. For the next year I asked my friends to occasionally join me to create special projects.
I believe in the power of receiving a card in the mail. Our society has moved away from this personal connection with one another. I miss this tradition and actively send birthday cards each month to friends and family. I hope to expand and send timely cards for other occasions. For now, #imbringingbirthdaysback
In the fall of 2016 I became more consistent in inviting friends to gather together to create projects and make cards. As I shared my love for stamping and crafting I also shared the best deal Stampin' Up! has to offer, the starter kit. You can learn more about this deal on my Join My Team page.
Each month I host opportunities for new and old friends to gather together to make cards or other projects. I also offer opportunities for others to host classes and projects in their homes. I am expanding to include online and to go opportunities. In addition to my blog here, I email updates, and post on Facebook and Instagram. https://www.facebook.com/MC2MichelesCreativeCorner
